Botanical Name: Acalypha indica
Acalypha is an essential medicinal plant in ayurvedic medicine and Tamil medicine. In India, Nettles are grown widely in the states of Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala Karnataka, Maharastra, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and West Bengal. Indica is found in roadside areas, wastelands, forest area, and agriculture lands of India.

How to consume:
Internally: Drink as a Tea or Soup. Make a paste with jaggery or syrup and eat it.
Externally: Make a paste with salt or turmeric and apply over the infected skin, which can cure various skin diseases like rabies, ringworm, etc.
